Network Scaffolding was awarded Weston Mill Viaduct in February 2008. The Viaduct, which is situated in the Davenport naval base, Plymouth consisted of nine vast and equally challenging phases.
The ten span structure consisted of six masonry arch spans and four bowstring girders. Eight of the phases were erected form the ground up using the traditional birdcage scaffold. Once to the summit of the structure erecting had to be completed on night possession to allow for track closure. The project featured in the network rail magazine.
The total values of the project was over £1,000,000 and was finished in late 2009.
